COMPANY HISTORY

After serving his apprenticeship with British Leyland, Allan decided to open his own garage in 1969. Located in Star Street in the centre of Cardiff, he offered vehicle servicing, repair and MOT facilities and soon established a local reputation for 'Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Excellence' - a motto that to this day is at the heart of everything we do at Allan Parfitt Car Sales.

During the seventies Allan also became greatly involved in the world of motor racing. He extended the business to include race-car preparation and became very successful as a Special Saloon race driver himself, finally achieving the position of Welsh Champion in 1976/77.

A few decades on and after a couple of location changes, Allan now concentrates mainly on the retail side of the motor industry although his mechanical expertise is invaluable when selecting vehicles for retail here in Birchgrove, Cardiff. We never purchase vehicles from auction houses - all our stock is 'hand picked' by Allan from a select group of main dealers in central Cardiff. We have always found that this type of vehicle tends to have a more thorough history and is of a better calibre than a lot of the cars available through auction sites - our customers certainly seem to agree!

All our vehicles are supplied after being serviced and MOT'd (where necessary,) and come with a minimum '6 Month Parts & Labour Warranty.' Your new car is also fully valeted to a high standard. In addition, we have access to some of the most competitive finance packages in the

Our philosophy is a simple one - 'Treat people the way we would wish to be treated.' You will find our small team of three - Allan, Gavin and Mel - to be knowledgeable, courteous and helpful at all times. We don't push or pressure our customers because we don't need to. Allan will
often remind us of the following - 'You don't succeed for 39 years in business with your name above the door if you don't do the job well' and he's right - as he continues to prove!!
